#15: "R∆" by Simon Curtis

Simon Curtis' sophomore album "R∆" was a pretty angry one.  Whilst the internet world fell charmed to his Britney-esque electro-pop when debut free download album "8-Bit Heart" dropped, Simon was busily putting together his follow-up effort which saw the artist grow into his art just a little bit more.  EQ was proud to host his sold-out London show back in May in which we got to see the promising young star put on an intimate show with his friends Ro Danishei and Andrea Lewis for his dedicated fans.  Out of that show?  Simon ended up being featured in Billboard Magazine next to his idol Darren Hayes and ultimately being signed to Robbie Williams management team.  "Flesh" was by far the stellar track of the album, but songs like "Enemy" and "Laser Guns Up" proved that Simon Curtis won't be going away.  We hear that his first official UK single will be dropping in January too – can't wait!
