We love a good, dark little electronic pop nugget here at EQ Music and ‘Talk Of The Town’ by Soho Dolls is no exception.

‘Talk Of The Town’ has an eerie dark mystique which intrigued us from the very first time we heard the tune and Maya Von Doll’s voice just oozes an eroticism that could quite possibly the 51st shade of grey.

We asked Maya Von Doll to comment on what ‘Talk Of The Town’ means to her and this is what she had to say:

“The inspiration for the sound of the track was the ‘Drive’ movie soundtrack and John Carpenter. Lyrically, the song is about rape culture and how it’s led to teenage suicides recently, something I’m passionate talking about.”
