I am loving the new breed of UK hip-hop that is incubating right now. I honestly feel it’s come full circle and once again hip-hop is funtastic. It COULD also have something to do with the amazing synths and production that is being injected into the genre these days too…yeah that could be big reason.
One of the acts that I have my eye on is Marvell. Already gaining some exposure on Radio1, 1Xtra and Kiss with their new single “We Know” – which is being released in October, Marvell looks like they are going places. Take a listen to the radio rip of “We Know” below and I think you’ll agree that Marvell will awaken the inner hip-hop lover inside you like it does me. Word. This is jam hype.
