When the Korean’s launch a new girl band they really DO know how to make an impact!
Take a look at 2NE1 for instance, they’ve reigned supreme and pretty much unrivaled dropping technology embraced, kick-ass pop tunes for the past few years albeit for the appearance of the flimsier candy sweet creations of Girls Generation popping up alongside them.
To shake things up a little, a new K-POP act has thrown their neon injected wares into the ring. From the same label as 2NE1, the arrival of BLACKPINK offers some vibrantly electrifying, badda badda BOOM! upon the K-POP landscape.
Debut tracks “Whistle” and “Boombayah” have only been out for a short few days but the response on these has been quite phenom. BLACKPINK’s sing, rap style is certainly cause for us to go more than a little cray, cray over though. Being that it’s nigh impossible not to take a look at these cuties and then absorb everything of the total peachy infectiousness that each of these exhilaratingly rad pop nuggets throw out. They are just way out there addictive!
If Mel B, Geri and Baby were to stage a comeback as Spice Girls GEM anywhere near as fire as these tracks from BLACKPINK they’d pull off quite a feat. Let’s face it, the way they keep on stalling us it will probably prove more hype than substance anyways.
