Let’s meet emerging pop artist Nieri. The Milan-raised/LA-based artist proclaims he has some “Beautiful Music” he would like us to listen to. His words are not a tactic or boast. Nieri does have a debut track out called “Beautiful Music“. More to the point, it is pretty damn electro fantastic in a dance-pop meets club-worthy anthem kind of way.
On the track, I am loving the production from Stockholm-based producer/songwriter Joakim Buddee. He factors interesting textures in, like French-touch and piano-house. Rounding out the track, with some distinctive euro-pop flavour. Nieri’s, seductively sung vocals add more depth. The song is an enticing first glimpse at the sexy vocalist/songwriter.
Nieri says he was inspired to write the track…
“Beautiful Music” is about the need to release tension and finding that release in music. Many of us try to escape the stress of modern life with coping mechanisms like alcohol, drugs or casual sex. In most cases, that doesn’t end well. I wrote this song as a reminder to myself when things get tough, music has (and always will) be there for me.”
Having Joakim Buddee on board (Summer Heart & Polish popstar Margaret). I predict Nieri’s small splash on “Beautiful Music” will become a big splash by the time the debut EP arrives. (Slated for later this year). I am enjoying the seductiveness of Nieri’s endorphin raising introduction. I probably feel like this because I haven’t indulged listening to some sexy electro-pop in a while.
But like Nieri says…
“I wrote this song as a reminder to myself when things get tough, music has (and always will) be there for me. All I have to do is turn it on, dance a little, and eventually, I will be okay”.
