I am thrilled to introduce EQ Music Blog readers to a new pop act today. Gabi Goldman from Sweden! – Gabi’s debut track, “Body Heat,” is simply impressive and displays her immense potential. To be honest, I am especially excited by her fresh take on pop-influenced R&B. And am excited about what she has in store for us next, already. For instance, it is rather amusing, nonetheless, that while the UK still awaits a promised mini-heatwave. Gabi’s music is already generating its own heat. With that said, the song is obviously worth checking out!
Gabi is a talented musician with an absolutely magnetic voice. Her debut track, “Body Heat,” is a shimmering masterpiece that will inevitably catch the attention of anyone who loves lush, gorgeous pop music with meaningful lyrics. Gabi’s vulnerability shines through in every note she sings, making her music all the more spellbinding. In truth, I especially love how she prioritizes self-love in this track. A message that we all need to hear sometimes.
“I don’t want to give my love to anyone but myself, I don’t want to share nothing but a little bit of body heat”.
Gabi has stepped out like a ready-formed pop artist, and her voice is entirely captivating. I particularly love her dreaminess and the alluring quality of her vocals, since what I admire most about her is that she doesn’t seem to be trying to conform to any particular genre or style – she’s forging her own path and staying true to herself. We definitely need more authentic female artists like Gabi in the music world!
It is hard to believe that this is the debut single of a newcomer artist, given the level of professionalism and expertise that went into its creation. This comes not only from Gabi in the first instance, but from the production and writing teams of Jonah Christian, Jesse St. John and Victoria Zaro. The future beats are alluring, whereas the melody is incredibly catchy, making it impossible not to be captivated by the music.
