When I am at an EQ Music Live night, I am usually more aware than most of the audience, of what each artist on the line-up will bring to the show. Namely, because I have featured them in a post on the blog. For blogging purposes, at the very least checked out a selection of their tracks. However, in the instance of last Friday night’s EQ Music Live New Artist Showcase, there was one artist Eduard whom I was notably intrigued to find out more about. The reason for this, London-based independent singer-songwriter Eduard has only one track “Teach Me How To Love” on YouTube and Spotify. This is a song he wrote while he was in college some years ago. Yet by the same token seems the catalyst for starting his music journey.
However, at EQ Music Live I was soon to find out, Eduard empowers listeners through a soundscape of joyous uplifting party vibes teamed with poignant lyrics. Overarching themes of self-acceptance met with emotive vulnerability. Make-up Eduard’s self-named musical-styled, eclectic bipolar pop. I also noted when sharing a selection of his new tracks at the show. Eduard exhibits an engaging stage presence that has a wholly mesmerising effect on a crowd of pop music fans. In fact, I believe I saw a group of Eduard’s fan club, front stage, proudly dancing and punching the air in elation. While, completely in the moment with the captivating music and, also supportively cheering on the emerging singer.
The song that started it all off “Teach me How to Love” demonstrates Eduard’s lively, exuberant pop artistry. Full of energy and giving off feel-good vibes. With the music sorted out vocally and soundwise. While furthermore, armed with some gleaming new tracks. Eduard’s burgeoning music career is good to go. Such is the powerful effect of his music, there is no escape from the uplifting presence his tracks evoke.
Keep an eye on his socials listed below and make sure to go check Eduard out at gig soon. You’ll finish up your evening feeling 100% better if you do.
