Helen Kimber was on reporting duty at this year's inaugural SXSW London and here's her roving report on her EQ Music picks that she got to see live and recommends!
Helen is new to the team attending her first EQ Music Live show when Bentley Robles and Zee Machine came to the UK in 2024 on their Tears & Gearz tour. She immediately felt at home and became part of the EQ Music family combining her passion for LGBTQ+ music and event management. She is regularly on the lookout for emerging pop talent and as a musician herself, loves arranging pop songs for the piano which she has been playing since the age of 4. Helen has built a career in the financial services industry but spends all her spare time travelling the world and attending festivals and live events. She loves to meet new people so please approach her for a chat at the next EQ Music show - she’ll be the one in the sequin dress!
