'In The Lonely Hour' is the one album that everyone bought this year. If 2014 was a low-key year in music, Sam Smith owned every single minute of it. It's nice to see an openly gay artist like Sam Smith help pave the way for future gay male vocalists. Talent enduring and a humble attitude only added to his success this year.
