Newyear2012

A note from Raj Rudolph

Well it's very close to midnight in London and I'm already out drinking some bubbly and cocktails somewhere in Londontown trying to get over my holiday jetlag with Gerilicious, but I wanted to take some time out to wish each and every EQ across the globe a happy and prosperous New Year as we ring in 2012!

I'm so thankful for each and every one of you who reads EQ Music Blog.  2011 saw some very fun times here at EQ and slowly and surely, we grow a little bit more stronger and bigger every year.  With half a million online readers registered and counted this year, it's proof positive that the EQ community is strong and committed to supporting quality new pop and electronic music.

I'd like to personally thank the EQ staff who tirelessly gave up their time this year to help grow the brand – from writing blogs and reporting, to interviewing musicians, to working at our club nights, to offering their feedback on projects and plans, we couldn't have gotten through 2011 without the amazing help of Mandy Rogers, Marc Ridley, Javi Lopez and Jordan Meehan – you guys are the best and I can't wait to get stuck into some of the fun projects we have planned in 2012!

We hope that you dear reader will continue to read EQ Music Blog in 2012 and come out to see us as we hit the road with Martika on the EQ Music Tour and launch our first Poptronik Festival in Sitges, Spain in June.

Raise your glass and smooch the nearest cutie EQs, because 2012 is gonna be PHENOMENAL.

Big shout out to some amazing people this year who have supported us:
