We couldn’t put on an EQ Music Live event without the key ingredient of a guest DJ stepping in behind the decks at Zigfrid von Underbelly to help get the party in full swing.
At our February show, headlined by Dragonette, the warm-up duties were appointed to DJ Zeke Thomas, who most ordinarily can be found spinning the wax in the hottest clubs in New York, Las Vegas, & Miami.
Let’s just say from the moment Zeke started up his set, we were treated to a mix of old skool jams, 80’s floor fillers and current club stompers. The energy was infectious and the feel good vibes it gave, rippled through the venue, bouncing off the walls. It was that off-the-hook!
Zeke was on top form, his pumping set slayed and for definite this EQ Music Live night partied harder than it ever has before.
We caught up with rising DJ backstage at after his amazing set to find out more about how he began DJing. What kind of music influences his sets and his thoughts on London.
