cardiknox

We haven’t met up with Seattle-by-way-of L.A. based synth-pop duo Cardiknox before but we need to put that to rights because Lonnie and Thomas bust out those fizzy 80’s stylings like there’s no tomorrow!

These two have previously jumped on tour in support of Carly Rae Jepson, Betty Who, The Knocks and are currently are out on the show circuit as co-headliners with Phoebe Ryan + extra tour mates, in one of our outright favourite new acts the high energised tunesmiths Secret Weapons.

You could say everything is seen out on this tour as a pop party of ebulliently rife proportions. The kind of night out that would feed your electronic pop addictions to maximum impact, and then some.

An active notion that leads us nicely to Cardiknox’s newly unleashed single and video “Wild Child”.

When the unabashed full-throttle force begins to take hold don’t mistake this for brattish-pop. “Wild Child” concerns itself more of not losing sight of your independence and grasping opportunities to see out your ambitions. To ultimately live life how you damn well choose.

The video is rather skittish in a good way. Lonnie and Thomas really get to play out rebellious fun and antics on a Behind-the-Scenes video shoot scenario, that’s as nonsensical fun with abandon as it is carefully thought-out glimpses of the duo’s live for the moment charisma.

If you’re looking for something that will really get your adrenaline pumping “Wild Child” will see to it, no problem!
