If you’re a cool head and know your way around the tastemaker circles you should already be aware that FKA Twigs (Formerly Twigs) has been on mega end of hip and seen as an A+ evolving source of new talent excitement for quite some time now.
Even before earlier works such as “Papi Pacify” and “Water Me” arrived with us FKA Twigs has been touted as one of the most intriguing within the inner sanctum crop of new artists out there. Notably, for her eclectically experimental ability to morph alt-pop leaning sonic soundscapes by the precision of her breathy falsetto, R’n’B daubed vocal techniques.
Actually, the hype is all warranted around FKA Twigs, as was the BBC Sound of 2014 nomination received at the end of last year.
On the back of critical acclaim and cult status for each of the previous “EP1” and “EP2” releases the mysterious mistress of otherworldly dimensioned R’n’B intervention is soon to be arrived with the in-keeping chronologically themed debut album “LP1”.
Upfront of the album comes “Two Weeks” which is quite possibly at the high end of being one of the most hypnotically and atmospherically alluring pieces that has entered into the sonic pool of music production similar of BANKS, SOHN et al, for many a month .

Which quite honestly suits purpose, as feel it’s definitely on the cards now for FKA Twigs to be open to bigger things, than just remain spear-headed as a cult figure.
