Time to revisit emerging synth-pop duo Kaleida, who last year set about the road to the launch of their first EP by setting in place online buzz through their tracks “Think”, “Picture You” and “Tropea”.
We haven’t heard so much as a peep out of the London based girls as we’ve waited on the “Think” EP debut to come into fruition, but news just in seems to indicate, that it’s all good to go now since their recent inking with Lex Records and subsequent announcement that they will go out on tour on a number of dates in support of Roisin Murphy.
The icily sonic cinematic sound that carries the signature ident of Kaleida has further won favour to feature in Keanu Reaves latest blockbuster “John Wick”. So as we can quite plainly see for ourselves Kaleida are quite riding on a crest of acclaim, beginning right of now.
In support of the upcoming “Think” EP, the ladies first service a video in focus upon the esoterically engaging track “Tropea” and for this, Kaleida lead us into an otherworldly dimension of contemporary sought arty* visual seen through the representation of the female form.
*so as not to shock, when we said arty*, it was our way of inferring that there is some degree of all in the name of art nakedness going on here.
