Vanbot

The musical mindset of Vanbot’s sophomore album “Perfect Storm” arrived last year with a noted stronger sense of experimental artistry beating at it’s core.

An icy landscape built of pristine synth-pop aligned against dark themes which yielded an alluring mystique of emotively haunting arrangements, bringing with it a disparate sheen of sonic melody and cinematic alchemy.

An album which in actual fact, has been criminally underrated and was deserving of so much more on a larger scale interest. “Perfect Storm” kept us hooked in captivation by it’s overall stunning production and it was an easy decision on our part to give it some deserving recognition in our end of year – Top 20 Albums of 2015, highlights.

Visual content on the “Perfect Storm” release was rather sparse on the ground but Vanbot is seeking to remedy this now by sharing a rather striking video clip for album single “The Way You Say It“.

A fabulous wardrobe and excellent lighting effects achieve a correlation of impact which extracts the portrayal of contrast between strength and vulnerability within the territory of an uncomfortable love story coming to light.

If you missed out on this gem when it dropped last summer, make sure to make amends and go give it some worthy investigation and attention now
