Stalking Gia

What has alternative-pop newcomer Stalking Gia got over a band of others?

Well, from the get go I can’t help but be anything but suitably impressed by the extent of finesse the singer goes at lengths to exude. Maybe it’s just the colour of her though, mapping out pop with a classy edge of chic as an appendage.

Second Nature” is only Stalking Gia’s third single release, yet it feels like it’s soft-pop appeal is by far coming further down the line in her artist career inventory.

So smooth by nature, you can almost feel these sonic placed beats coming in for a cheek-to-cheek encounter, such is the sense of intimacy the sensually engaged track offers up. Guided by a sinuous flow of gently tugging bass beats makes for an elixir made of mood enhancing, nocturnal seated arrangement when travelling against the airily given vocals, which almost turn to whispery vapors when meeting our listening senses.

It’s fair to say this is of Stalking Gia. She’s like a by far sweeter version of Lana Del Rey. One that we more readily connect to and become involved with the sophisticated tonality through-out.

Once heard, the base-line will not leave you! It will rear up on mind recalled play-back as twilight begins to cast shadows and the day winds down.

Similarly, the simplicity in the visual embracing dreamy apparitions, switches on sensors to the brain. Activating a sensation of lulling reflection. Calm and restfulness.

What is on offer here is NOT downbeat but smooth-beat, and boy is it almost hallucinogenic with it!
