It’s important that we take a look at this striking piece of visual footage for Swedish newcomer Laura Nox’s dramatically steeped ballad “Save A Little Love”. As there is plenty of impact right from the off, with a hammering introduction which opens the track out onto a pensive beginning. The fact of the matter is, this is a really powerful introduction altogether, if ever we heard one. But the way in which it carries a strong level of poignancy throughout really hits home a hurricane of feelings that at a stroke of a thundering beat could land your heart right in your mouth.

This is quite an entrance for an emerging artist, who is masked up in a cloud of mystery. Tackling an emotionally deep theme on your debut. We cannot glance at the piece for a milli-second without being spun into deep thought. Seeing the horrors of the world through a child’s eye that should of course be only bathed in innocence, is a vision that chokes up emotions real hard.

There is an air of hope which arrives in the rousing fanfare of the chorus and Laura’s clear cut vocal holds so much command that we feel swept up and rescued out of harm’s way by the time this epic piece of dynamic electronica draws to a close.

Sometimes we turn a blind eye when things get too tough to handle and when within the big shaped world, events might not affect us directly. The pleas of Laura’s rallying “Save A Little Love” are reinforcingly sincere to make us think again and spring a deed of compassion into action.

For the record, from the intense electronic current which spins its enveloping spectrum from darkness to euphoria over this piece, you might just pick up that Laura is quite a Depeche Mode fan too!
