Disclosure feat Sam Smith

In their return to promoting new material, the Lawrence siblings of Disclosure haven’t quite regained the stature of excellence that saw them win such huge acclaim for their debut LP effort “Settle” or the string of hits spawned from within.

I don’t overwhelmingly feel the buzz level of vitality which became apparent on Disclosure’s debut pieces has so much shown itself to have been coming through on their comeback track “Holding On” if I’m being completely honest. Although, remain opened minded that the electronic duo might have a few new tricks up their sleeve to reveal to us as the “Caracal” album promotion gathers up some momentum.

Since we became aware that the duo were to collaborate again with former “Latch” vocal assist collaborator Sam Smith, the heat on the radar has really been turned on some way in expectancy that it would measure up in comparable prestige. This being said, we haven’t been intently looking towards a like for like remake of “Latch” either, just something that grew from the same place in which Disclosure’s original creative flair stemmed from.

What we read in hope within this closing statement is that Disclosure’s return to form continues and grows onwards from this point in the “Caracal” album onwards.
