During the promotion campaign for latest album “Working Girl”, Little Boots has really taken the office theme concept to the sky and run away with it hasn’t she!
The electronica has been meticulously turned out like a freshly pressed power suit, a pretty pastel shaded one at that.
This concept has worked like a dream team for the boss lady of analogue electro-pop and she’s suitably tying up the final “Working Girl” release by way of the track “Get Things Done”.
With a stylishly sleek aesthetic, Boots fills our eyes with mundane office paraphernalia which becomes enlived by an artsy presentation package of GIF like animation, taking the office girl role into a realm of secretarial chic authority.
Even Little Boots, water cooler looks way cooler than the average water cooler just by Boots standing up beside it!
Don’t be fooled by the delicate powder shades of colour which gently catch the eye, these ladies mean business and seem almost activated by a start button, to ensure that all tasks meet their deadlines.
Little Boots brought disco to the work place and it livened up the daily 9-to-5 grind with a touch of electronic engineering which didn’t require actioning, more that its assigned role is a part of the action.
Sure has got these fingers tap, tap, tapping along into my laptop and jotting up this review in like no time at all.
