For those of you that can distinctly recall the post-punk era impact of experimentalist avant-garde acts like the Flying Lizards and Lene Lovich, then you’ll quite be seeing Death Team’s angst-driven infectious debut as somewhat revivalist in terms.

The kidadult never leaves us does it! Its spirit lurks within us all, and just when we think we have it contained it can devilishly fool us otherwise. No-one is immune!

The Swedish Duo have taken something from this, tapped back into some of their residual teenage angst and rebellious spark that took place in their youth and have successfully recreated some acidic lollipop flavour of it represented, in song.

Having not given themselves the jolliest of names, there’s no doubting, Death Team are live-wires to the extreme!

So much so, that we’re on a knife-edge ourselves in raving about this insanely addictive slice of jagged pop they’ve created. Whilst, also being left quite aghast at the level of shock-value that the accompanying fight night down the bowling alley themed video goes to, quite literally sparing no punches.

The common denominator remains, the video is as whack as the song.

Which in all honesty is frippen stir-crazy but wickedly, fabulously so.
