Boycode

With everything of new emerging boy bands on the decline and the resurgence of the man-band stepping into the breach. There is some hope on the horizon for the teen-nation of pop poster, pin-up fans, that of all places Belgium might come the rescue and fill the boy band shaped hole left by the disbanding of The Wanted and One Direction.

Last year we were given an introduction to Boycode, the aspiring foursome of hand-picked pop talent whose intentions are to make a serious assault on the music scene and give new life to the boy band genre.

Timmy, Lennert, Greg and Matt have entrusted themselves with a supportive headstart, in that they’ve inked a deal with Sony, toured Asia through to Europe, taking in Ireland and have created quite a positive impact wherever they go.

Next within Boycode’s sights is the UK. They want to get on the map with us pop thirsty music lovers, they said as much quite recently on a whistle-stop tour of old Blighty’s capital. This might not be an opportunity too far off actuality for the lads being as they’ve just launched their first worldwide release, a jaunty melodic number titled “After Juliet”.

Totally “After Juliet” plays to the trump card of a typical textbook, boyband love song. There’s very good reason for that as the lads have been working with producer Dan Muckala who played a part in the development of the Backstreet Boys.

Could the four boys from Belgium be about to replicate the success of the internationally ascending boy bands that have gone before them? Well they’ve got the cuteness on overload, big sounding pop songs, and video’s packed full of fun times and party times. So there’s every chance they’ll steal some teenage hearts for sure.
