Wowsa – we can’t really contain our excitement for hot new act Young Love at the moment. We really came across him by by accident the other day when we were searching for something else electro-related on MySpace. We then remembered that Arjan Writes wrote about him awhile back as being a hot new talent, and in remembrance, we could have kicked ourselves for not taking a listen then! Having a browse and fiddle on his MySpace page, we were even more impressed that he some of his influences as being Zoot Woman (a new EQ favourite) as well as old school electro pioneers, Nu Shooz – a band from EQ’s hometown of Portland, Oregon.
As if all that isn’t enough, Young Love is going to be in the UK touring next week and we are in high hopes that we can make it to one of his gigs for a review. So EQ readers, sit back and be hypnotized by the electro and indie sounds of Young Love. We’ll be watching him closely as he develops and enjoy his electro video to "Find A New Way".
