Flamboyant antipodean dream-pop duo Empire Of The Sun have leant their phantasmagorical touch to the film soundtrack of long awaited “Dumb and Dumber To” sequel to the Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey starring original movie of 20 years ago.
We must say, that EOTS have seemingly packaged up the shimmery essence of the season together quite nicely with an added sheen of blissfully euphoric Fleetwood Mac pop orientation gliding it onto a downy road of mellifluous dream-pop soothing sound.
Totally the perfect kind of music to kick-back too on a lazy Sunday, pamper day grey day or duvet day. Infact, all these kinds of days that winter brings upon us would be beneficially better for a play or two of “Wandering Star”, until we receive Empire Of The Sun’s third studio album “Every Ocean Tells A Story” that is, which is due with us next year.
