Tower

Hang on tight we’re going in for a jolt of electro fuzzing Indie pop.

This is not a territory that I take it upon myself to converge on in any vast quantities as a norm. All the same when this one from LA based duo TOWER came to light, dropping its alternative lead glinting gnarliness with an undenibably rampantly pandemic fuzzing sound dynamic. Well it quite seemed to impress upon leaving a bold hooky resonating imprint reverberating in its wake that became too darn riotously fuelled of power spunky melody to ignore.

As a debut TOWER’s “Teenage Miracle” certainly plays into a frenetic path of punky attitude and delivers a confident hit of blistering synths into its hedonistically sprawling mix of powered up pop presence and charismatically delivered jowlly vox pop.

Actually I’m finding this track majorly reminiscent in a good way to that of The 1975’s more synth devised tracks as deployed in “The City” and “Chocolate”.

Sure is a notable girth of crunchiness about this and is definitely a wake up call of surging future possibilities that are ignited in a solid debut of some spirited underground vibey character.
