Miamigo

Hey look at MIAMIGO won’t ya! They’ve written so many addictingly groovy tunes now, such as we have written about here, that they just can’t wait for conventional things like release dates to be settled. It seems the duo’s electronic pop earworms have an unstoppable mind of their own to filter their way into pop land and tease us all the more by the tuneful power of their popcentric boppy beats.

Much to this, further adding to their growing catalogue which gleams in 80’s grandeur of synth indebted pop, the Brighton outfit reveal effervescing new track “PotLuck” ahead of their upcoming show at Electrowerkz in March.

Quite honestly if these guys continue to bring us such pristine sound bytes of engagingly emphatic standing, along with what is obviously an innate understanding of serving up spectacularly shimmery pop hooks time and time again, then I’m definitely proclaiming them to be Brighton’s answer to South African / American synth-popstars St. Lucia!

By definition a tall order for some, but MIAMIGO appear game on to go the distance.

Take note: A solid to some way brilliant debut album could be in the offering.

Now comes the harder part. As a band still very much emerging, we have to wait on it.
