James Wolf 1

We have been keeping track of the debut EP release from the more than colourful but always disco-pop providing James Wolf, and upon this fair day the aforesaid EP “Oxytocin” EP has arrived.

Whilst, we have already burrowed into much of this release already the collection of funky tuneage served here is deserving of one more push.

So onwards into it we go!

Thus far we have commented on the euphoric nu-disco slammer “Hercules”, noted the sensually pulsating deep-house nature of “Deeper “and expressed our approval of the cosmically gleaming DNA that made up “Heart and Soul”.

There is a further track “Into You” which completes the set and which we’ve not until now had the opportunity to wrap our ears around. Suffice to say in doing so now, “Into You” measures up in its intoxicating grip of soul splashed tropical disco-house presence with an all embraced confidence of an emerging artist whose attention is focused in all parts of the creative package, as singer and lyricist and has the foresight to call upon quite weighty industry producers (Tom Neville, Troika, Roy Kerr) to bring out the results to their sassy, rhythmically nu-disco arranged best.

Owing to its overall presence of bubbling sensual grooves, “Oxytocin” is very much the EP to break out when searching for a late night mood enhancer or equally when on drive time down to the beach.
