Many of us across the world were devastated by the attacks upon the Pulse Night Club in Orlando, Florida last weekend. It would mark the single largest mass shooting in United States history, and the largest terror attack on United States soil since 9/11.  The big difference with this horrific massacre this time around is that artists are not staying silent. Reaching out with their greatest talent. Some of the world’s biggest pop superstars are taking to the studio to raise funds for the victims and making music to effect change in the world.  It’s a big theme, but of course one Christina Aguilera can pour it on with what we need most with her latest ‘Change.’

A fair warning. Bring out your tissues because you will not have a single dry eye when you turn on this one.  That fateful night, those club goers were doing nothing more than dancing and living their life with the music blasting in their ears. They would never want the music to go silent. With Christina’s unmatched vocals, you are reminded in ‘Change’ that we are no different. At the root of it all, we’re all human. A heavy piano carries this thought provoking straight to your core. Remember. This isn’t just a ballad. This is a song to remember. This is a song to remember the power of music and most of all, the power of love. Let’s be the change we want to see in the world. Never let the music stop.

The best part of all of this, Christina Aguilera will be donating all proceeds on US iTunes for the next three months from ‘Change’ to the shooting victims in the hope we all learn to love again.

Her label and publisher will also be donating their portion of proceeds as well.
