Is there a spot where you can hide that Adam Lambert’s voice won’t touch you with all sorts of aural pleasure? Absolutely not. When an artist puts his heart and soul into his craft, who would want to escape it? Not even a week off from releasing his latest single ‘Welcome to The Show’ and shortly after kicking off a new leg of the Original High tour; we were surprised by a brand new release by Steve Aoki and Felix Jaehn ft. everyone’s favorite showman, Adam Lambert entitled ‘Can’t Go Home.’

Quite the 180 from his other recent track, by pairing up with EDM king Steve Aoki and electro newcomer Felix Jaehn you get a track that is one hundred percent Adam Lambert’s musical vibe.

A rich electro-pop saturated track carries the classic moody lyrics associated with Adam Lambert tracks to a level that not many pop tracks can attest to. Negative emotions of a break up track become eliminated as your body flows freely to the melody. As you hear Adam sing “say you wanna leave, you got my heart on a string behind you” it’s like he really wants to give the relationship another try as there is something still there.

Yet, the song seems to cover the theme that you should never leave anyone on bad terms.  It’s important to break off anything cleanly. There might even be a sub-theme, you should party responsibly whilst dancing to the track.

It may have just entered the springtime season, but there are no rules in when someone can declare a “song of the summer.” A trio of talents possessing the right elements to tantalize the ear drums certainly beckon a nomination for the award. So why wait for summer when you have a hot track like ‘Can’t Go Home’ now?
