X&Y 2

Pop comes in all shapes and sizes but when it’s good we love it just the same.

Such is the case with recently formed trio X & Y who are not messing around it seems when it comes to establishing their A game.

This band of three have been putting pen to paper and further plotting out their ideas through the music mediums of keyboards, guitar and drums. Whilst, over time, refining and executing their sophisticated pop outlook with some definite precision.

How else could this be better explained when no sooner has X & Y launched their debut online “This Love”, that it is almost simultaneously announced that the band supported ex Westlife boy-bander Markus Feehily at The Scala last week.

Seems to us that X & Y have been grown-up pop’s little secret waiting to happen from behind closed doors. The secrets now out on them! And if the sweeping R’n’B embodied mid-tempo electro-pop of “This Love” is anything indicative towards what might become the X & Y signature sound, then a fair few over 30’s will have just experienced their first X & Y eargasm!
