| Today we thought we’d pay tribute to one of the original Electroqueers…Paul Lekakis.
For those of you who don’t know Paul Lekakis, he was probably one of the pioneers of gay dance music in the 80’s. His song, ‘Boom Boom‘ is a classic dancefloor filler and was quite controversial at the time. Paul is still making music these days and doing a little acting as well. You can catch him in the movie ‘Circuit‘ and more recently he has tried his hand at directing. His short film ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell‘ is currently making the film festival rounds. |
