The doors of the X Factor competition may have now wrapped up for this year, but as one set of doors close another opens for the previous 2011 series alumni. X Factor man band collectively assembled at bootcamp, The Risk breaks a year’s silence with release of their debut single “Missiles” at the beginning of the New Year.
Since exiting the show the foursome have gone on to prove popular, through a colossal amount of live performances that they have carried out throughout the year, yet in-between they have slotted in studio time with some of urban pop’s top producers / songwriters to ready their debut album for a release mid 2013.
Lead single “Missiles” demonstrates a slick approach to pop that expands upon their harmonised X Factor days to showcase an urban garage immersed production that fulfils expectations from the highly popular quartet.
