Electronic pop pioneers Parralox continue to push the envelope in new indie directions with their latest single ‘Wildlife’ which debuted on Clash Music last week.

The international duo (John von Ahlen resides in Melbourne and Johanna Gervin is a Londoner) decided to stay behind the camera this time and get a handful of Melbourne’s defiant youth together for a visual treat that manages to keep your eyes glued to the camera for 4+ minutes.

When I first heard ‘Wildlife’ a few years ago, I instantly thought it was single-worthy and it’s nice to see the transition of Parralox going from polished electro pop music to a new, more experimental indie sound via their latest singles including ‘Eye In The Sky’ and ‘Aeronaut’. It’s also great to see John von Ahlen on lead vocals too, adding to the impressive catalogue of quality music the band has put out over the years.

You can see Parralox perform live in London THIS FRIDAY at EQ Music Live at Underbelly in Hoxton along with Draco Draco and All Kings and Queens.
