This is some serious news that I was sworn to seceracy about…and now all is revealed!
Last night two of electronic music's biggest heavyweights BT and Christian Burns announced their new collaboration project called All Hail The Silence. To celebrate the launch, they gave away their first track for free in exchange for a tweet called "Looking Glass" that you can get right here, right now. Take a listen, I think you'll find that there are some deep shades of Depeche Mode weaved ever so delicately into the tracks lush sonic landscape that only the likes of BT and Christian Burns could produce.
These two electronic superstar mavens have made it quite public about their amazing chemistry as friends and musical brethren and it excites me to no end to know that their combined forces are going to shake up the world of electronica. Whilst electronic music still seems to be a sub genre that sometimes stands quite well on it's own, with it's own set of fans and enthusiasts, I'm hoping that All Hail The Silence will help the genre receive more of a crossover appeal whilst still maintaining the integrity of the true electronica.
I'm hoping to get a sneak peak of some of the upcoming All Hail The Silence tracks really soon and you can bet if I do, I'll let you know about it!

UPDATE: Christian Burns just did a blog explaining the origin of All Hail The Silence. It's pretty good too and I'm somewhat gobsmacked their album was made without the use of a computer…
